Join our research group at Umeå University for a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship focused on uncovering the proteins that safeguard mitochondrial DNA stability in eukaryotes.

Our lab combines cell and molecular biology with biochemistry to answer fundamental questions about mitochondrial function and its role in health and disease.

🔍 Who we’re looking for:

• Recent PhD in cell/molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or related fields
• Strong track record and motivation
• Experience in mitochondrial biology or DNA metabolism is a plus
